I have been enjoying working with the Theatre Arts Department at Instilling Goodness Developing Virtue Schools for quite a long time! Instructing students grades K-10 and ushering them into a love of theatre has been incredibly rewarding as a teacher. We’ve performed Shakespearean plays, Greek myths, historical monologues ( inspired by Kate Magruder), and experienced lots of improvisation. Some casts have made their own original set designs, props, and costumes. I am convinced that Theater Arts are a timeless magical asset for any age. I grew up in Washington, D.C. and had the great opportunity to work and play with Folger Shakespeare, Arena Stage, and the British Embassy Players.
