Maria believes life is short, so you might as well try a few things. A longtime Mendocino County resident, Maria’s connection to SPACE goes back many years. She worked at SPACE before embarking on a career as an international flight attendant, and after years of traveling the world, she’s delighted to have found her way back to where her journey began. Along the way, Maria has stayed closely connected to creativity, community, and storytelling. Today, she is also a voice actor, audiobook narrator, and podcast creator, with a lifelong love of the arts and the connections that creative spaces can build within a community. When she’s not at SPACE or behind the microphone, Maria can usually be found playing with her granddaughter, indulging her current obsession with needlepoint, knitting or curled up with her husband and their miniature poodle, Lucy, watching or reading a good old-fashioned murder mystery.
