Emma Van Patten

Emma Van Patten began her dance journey at six years old here at SPACE. Graduating from SPACE at 18 years old, Emma continued her dance studies at San Francisco State University, earning her B.A. in Dance. Emma has experience with several different styles, including; Hip-Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, Modern, Haitian, Afro-Fusion, Tap, and Ballet. During her studies, she expanded her experience to choreography. She has choreographed for and taught numerous dance workshops at San Francisco State, choreographed for semester projects, and occasionally came back to SPACE as a guest choreographer. Emma returns to SPACE with a comprehensive dance and choreography background.
