Rachel Porter

Rachel was raised in Olathe, Kansas. After watching her sisters join the dance teams on a whim, she decided to as well. Rachel has had experience in dance since she was on the high school varsity dance team. She has performed in solos and teams at numerous competitions throughout high school. Rachel joined the University of Saint Mary Spirettes dance team and competed at nationals with the cheerleading team. Rachel student coached the university dance team in her last semester at school, preparing them for nationals and regional competitions. Shortly after graduating and moving to Ukiah, she began working with SPACE as an assistant and teacher. Rachel wants to help build a bigger dance community here in Ukiah and help others find their passion and freedom in the movement/technique of dance.
