SPACE Performing Arts

In July, the musical theater presentation of Perfect!? featured 60 SPACE students, ages 8-16. In the 2010 version of Perfect!?, adapted and directed by Andrew Kircher, the campers took over the theater. In the tradition of the late Augusto Boal's Theatre of the Oppressed, the campers "rehearsed their revolution" by parodying the camp itself, and found powerful and positive ways to make themselves heard.
